The Whole World Needs to STOP and LOOK and SEE what ISIS is doing to humanity.

Shiite Youths BEG FOR MERCY BEFORE THEY WERE MASSACRED BY ISIS

Story here.

Repent and pray.

Pray the rosary, unite your sacrifices and prayers to all who suffer, to all victims of these atrocities.

It is like the massacres of Rawanda.

Pray.

Prayer from today's First Reading:

Let my eyes stream with tears
day and night, without rest,
Over the great destruction which overwhelms
the virgin daughter of my people,
over her incurable wound.
If I walk out into the field,
look! those slain by the sword;
If I enter the city,
look! those consumed by hunger.
Even the prophet and the priest
forage in a land they know not.

Have you cast Judah off completely?
Is Zion loathsome to you?
Why have you struck us a blow
that cannot be healed?
We wait for peace, to no avail;
for a time of healing, but terror comes instead.
We recognize, O LORD, our wickedness,
the guilt of our fathers;
that we have sinned against you.
For your name's sake spurn us not,
disgrace not the throne of your glory;
remember your covenant with us, and break it not.
Among the nations' idols is there any that gives rain?
Or can the mere heavens send showers?
Is it not you alone, O LORD,
our God, to whom we look?
You alone have done all these things. - Jeremiah 14:17-22

  1. "It is like the massacres of Rawanda."

    And like the massacres of Bosnia/Herzegovina where it is reported that over 5,000 Muslim men were murdered by the Serbian Army. History repeating itself over and over and each time, the West is weak and silent and indifferent.

    I am thankful to God Almighty that at least France has stepped up to offer refuge to the many who are being crushed in Iraq. I read the headlines yesterday. I hope they can truly help and also not forget the Kurds, who are said to be preparing for a massive ISIS invasion. No one from the West has come to their aid either and they are running out of ammo in order to defend their people and the thousands who have sought refuge there.

    I cried when looking at those pictures of all those youth. No mercy was given? None shall be granted to those ISIS thugs should they die unrepentant and then come to stand before the throne of almighty God.

    As to those who have closed their hearts, to those who have taken refuge in earthly pleasures, and to those whose heads are buried behind their "safety nets" may God have mercy on you as well.

    I am praying and asking our Lord Jesus, to the best of my ability, for mercy and relief for all of my brothers and sisters this day.

    If they did this to those young men, what is to become of their mothers and the children? The elderly?

    1. I wish everything could stop, all the fighting and arguing and understand what is happening. Everything seems to be coming to a head.

      It is good to keep praying and asking for mercy. The time of mercy seems to be wasting away.
