At least I hadn't seen anything announcing his death.
I just found out last night that Rod Taylor died on January 7 of this year, four days before his 85th birthday.
RIP Rod.

DeleteHey Terry ! From his star role in the Time Machine circa1960; for its time, a scarry movie. My mom took me and my brother to see it, only 8 & 9 years old. It scared the beJupiters out of us. We still speak of ourselves as the Eloi with the Military Industrial Complex as Moloch ready to devour us at the outbreak of any social Crisis.

Haha! Thanks. I saw Time Machine around the same age - it was a Saturday afternoon and all the neighborhood kids were there, and when she told her name, "Wee-na" every single kid either broke out laughing and the boys started whistling. I think I had to go to confession that evening.
