Stepford lives.

New Catholic families are currently moving into Domino pizza-magnate's newly developed Catholic town. Ave Maria University's founder, Tom Monghan, seems to be completing his parallel universe with this new project, bearing the same name as AMU.

That's almost as creepy as moving all the Catholics to one part of the country & calling your state "Mary Land." lol.

  2. Great! Now we're putting Catholics on Reservations! Is that a good idea?

    LOL!

Admittedly, it is intriguing, but I don't think running away from society is the way to go about changing it for the better.

I suspect thyat being at that town might be a lot like living at the CA forums, but with no way to shut down and walk away from it.

I've heard it referred to as the Catholic "ghetto."

  6. Uh, Catholics did move to one part of the country and they did call it Mary land. We call it Maryland today and pronounce it Murland.
