Drama Wednesday...

The priest towards the end is especially edifying.

Ok, Terry, the lip-sync is off -- is this some Spanish soap opera?

Where do you find this stuff?

  3. It's hard to imagine that someone in some office somewhere is getting paid to write such drool. Even more amazing is the fact that people set their daily schedules to watch it.

BTW, although you didn't have to remove it, I think the video that referred to the late Sister Daly as "The Spawn of Satan" goes against every Catholic fiber in my body. I'm not defending her views in any way, but the makers produced a video that was highly inappropriate and now, in the light of her death, offensive to the memory of a deceased human being. I DISLIKE with a passion any philosophy that promotes the right to snuff out the life of an unborn child, this dislike also includes the so-called feminist theology (sounds so New Age to me) that Sister Daly may have been a part of.

Again, you did nothing wrong. My criticism is leveled at the makers of the video who should take a second look at what they created.

  4. I haven't seen Passions for years - but it was the nuttiest soap on TV - I laughed through the entire thing - so over the top.

Tom - I took the video down - I repent that I posted it.

You actually overhyped the priest for me, Terry. I feel let down by the reality.

(Was he blind, by the way?)

  6. Yes - he was blind - but later healed by a witch I think. The soap was positively stupid - a farce - which is why it was so funny. I hadn't seen it in years since it moved to cable. At one time they had a chimp or an ape - real one - named Precious who functioned as a nurse for an elderly patient. I know!

  9. Okay, I actually did say what the priest said a long time ago: "I won't baptize the witch"...
    I'll go to confession soon:<)!
