Preparation for the feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel

Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with you.

From the beginning, and before the world, was I created, and to the world to come I shall not cease to be, and in the holy dwelling place I have ministered before Him. - Ecclesiasticus 24, 14

Thanks be to God.

Hail, Star of the ocean!
Portal of the sky!
Ever Virgin Mother
Of the Lord Most High!
Oh! By Gabriel's Ave,
Utter'd long ago,
Eva's name reversing,
Establish peace below.
Break the captive's fetters;
Light on blindness pour;

All our ills expelling
Every bliss implore.
Show yourself a Mother;
Offer Him our sighs,
Who for us Incarnate
Did not you despise.
Virgin of all virgins!
To your shelter take us:
Gentlest of the gentle!
Chaste and gentle make us.

Still, as on we journey,
Help our weak endeavor,
Till with you and Jesus
We rejoice forever.
Through the highest heaven,
To the Almighty Three,
Father, Son, and Spirit,
One same glory be.
Amen.

Grace is poured forth on your lips.

Therefore has the Lord blessed you forever.

Grant, O Lord, God, we beseech You, to us, Your servants, that we may enjoy perpetual health of mind and body; and by the glorious intercession of Blessed Mary ever Virgin, may be delivered from present sadness, and come to the fruition of eternal joys. Through the Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, Who lives and reigns in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, world without end. Amen

Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with you.
