Happy Christmas!

What a farce!  Sometimes I wonder why we bother, don't you Trixie?

Christmas traditions...

Well, I fulfilled my obligation and went to Mass and I started taking down all the decorations when I got home, what a mess - every thing's so dusty having been up for a month.  Afterwards I'm going to run over to Walgreen's and get some candy markdowns and later I might go see Les Miserables.

What?  (I'm just kidding!)

Some people do that.

  1. MOST people do that, sadly, minus fulfilling their Mass obligation :(

  2. I know. Mine stay up for the 12 days, but I always have an image of the Infant Jesus out all year long.

    Merry Christmas Mary!

  3. Merry Christmas Terry, I am under the weather and I almost didn't make it to celebrate the Christmas Masses.

  4. Merry Christmas Terry!

I've got you beat, buddy! I don't have a tree for the first time e-vah! I didn't plan it that way, the will was there, but my body didn't get the memo. I often put mine up on Christmas Eve and leave it up at least through Epiphany. One year it was up through Candlemas. No, that wasn't planned either.

We put up the tree, went to Mass, returned home to baked fillet of Salmon en papillot, on to see Les Miserables and then home to slumber until dawn and open gifts (mostly British or Swiss candy) - all good in my book!
