Terry, I would not have expected those from him. It is fascinating actually. I started in complete abstraction when young and ended up in realistic marine art so surprises abound. Years ago I was with Bleeker St. Gallery which is now a food store. That Bleeker/ Mc Dougal area was fascinating years ago....galleries were every several blocks and often tinged with the mysterious. Though I got ripped off by a gallery two years ago and don't like them much.

I always intend to come in to Manhattan to go to Buvette, a French restaurant off Bleeker and west, but never get there. It's a psychological block of some sort.....or I know I'll gain pounds of a saturated fat nature there with the duck confit. I went from 262 in May down to 224 this AM and almost have my gymnast body back which would be 217 at 6'3". So Buvette beckons and it doesn't because the last pounds are the hardest to use. We were invited to Prime and Beyond in Fort Lee, stepson et al in from Taiwan, today and I can't find anything small on the menu.
I look at the paintings and wonder, why is it that a rough 2 dimensional painting that doesn't have depth, and another painting that over emphasized depth leading the eye to no depth at all as signified by surface mount faucets is somehow good.
