The Courageous Fr. Pavone to Nancy Pelosi:

"Abortion is not sacred ground; it is sacrilegious ground. To imagine God giving the slightest approval to an act that dismembers a child he created is offensive to both faith and reason.

And to say that a question about the difference between a legal medical procedure and murder should not “have anything to do with politics” reveals a profound failure to understand your own political responsibilities, which start with the duty to secure the God-given right to life of every citizen.

Mrs. Pelosi, for decades you have gotten away with betraying and misrepresenting the Catholic faith as well as the responsibilities of public office. We have had enough of it. Either exercise your duties as a public servant and a Catholic, or have the honesty to formally renounce them." - Entire text here.

Are there Catholic bishops in Washington D.C.?  California?  San Francisco? Are there Cardinals or Bishops who have Pelosi's ear who might speak as directly?  Is there a bishop or diocese to which she is subject, whose local ordinary might provide the proper catechesis, and/or some sort of discipline - canonical or penitential?  Or even a correction?  Hello?  Anybody there?

  1. It would be most charitable if her bishop and/or all the bishops would respond. Does she not have a parish priest in D.C. and CA.?

Charitable to her, to her children who most likely have also embraced momma's outlook. Charity for the Body of Christ. Gee, just look at the domestic churches of the Kennedy's and their influence on the abortion issue ... and ss marriage. It dovetails the generational sins that get handed down because everyone is being so pastoral, and or turn a blind eye to truth and the influence of evil. A mother's influence can have beautiful influence or it can bring great grief and destruction, as absent 'fathers'.

  2. Kudos to Father Pavone, but where are all the saints? We need a modern day Catherine of Siena/Anthony of Padua/Don Bosco/Padre Pio who can say, "God gave me a vision of Ted Kennedy in a place of torment..." And who has the miracles and holiness to be a credible witness. Please raise up a great saint soon, Lord.

  3. how many souls Pelosi takes with her-if she only knew. I saw a little decal on the window of an suv yesterday...it said, "behold your son". I couldn't quite make out the image that went with it until I walked closerr. It stunned me. The image was that of an ultra sound showing a precious little baby in his mother's womb waiting... very powerful.
