Our Lady of Quito "Our Lady of the Earthquake"

"Pray much and make sacrifices for sinners,
 for many souls go to hell because there is 
no one to make sacrifices for them."


Providentially, I discovered April 28 is the feast day of the Miraculous image of Our Lady of the Earthquake, also venerated as the Dolorosa del Colegio, in Quito, Equador.  Story here.

Perhaps we can invoke Our Lady of Quito in our prayers for the growing number of victims in the Nepal earthquake, as well as asking Our Lady's protection from those earthquakes which are coming.
