Oddly enough ... I checked Charlie Johnston's website yesterday ...

“The RESCUE Has Begun”

Beckita is filling in the blanks.

I just wanted to check and see if Trump and the chaos engulfing of his administration was ever mentioned and noticed that Beckita was in charge now, pretty much disseminating Charlie's messages.  Beckita seems to be to Charlie what Christine is to Voris - sans locutionary skills.  Seriously, I just wanted to see if new predictions were popping up with the new editor.  I decided it's a cult - Beckita was still promoting the message.

Oddly enough, I found the following update in my mail box today - thanks to a friend.  The Archdiocese of Denver had to step in again.  (It amazes me how devout Catholics can bend over backwards to promote their private revelations, even when repudiated by Church authorities.  In other words, trying to reinterpret what they were saying while insisting they are approved or permitted to sell their stories and go on tour.)
Archdiocese Denounces ‘Seer’ Message
February 16, 2017 by sd

Statement from Denver Archdiocese ‘on false claim regarding Charlie Johnston’s messages’
Mrs. Beckie Hesse, using the online profile “Beckita,” stated in a Feb. 7, 2017 blog post titled “The RESCUE Has Begun” that the messages of the alleged visionary Mr. Charlie Johnston, who resides in the Archdiocese of Denver, “have been fully approved by the Church.” In order to ensure that the faithful are correctly informed, it is necessary to publicly state that Mrs. Hesse’s claim is false.
In fact, Mr. Johnston’s alleged messages were reviewed by an archdiocesan theological commission and Archbishop Samuel J. Aquila determined that the faithful should be warned to be prudent and cautious about Mr. Johnston’s predictions. In addition, Mr. Johnston is not permitted to speak in Church-owned venues in the Archdiocese of Denver.
The events of 2016/17 have shown that Mr. Johnston’s alleged visions were not accurate and the Archdiocese urges the faithful not to condone or support further attempts to reinterpret them as valid. - Press Release

Today's Gospel is so appropriate on so many levels.  Jesus said: "You are thinking not as God does, but as human beings do."

  1. Hello,
I sent the following to the author of the press release.

    Dear Ms. Swanson,

This note is in response to your press release: http://archden.org/statement-false-claim-regarding-charlie-johnstons-messages/

I have copied Ms. Hesse’s original statement (with relevant text changed to red) below:

*The PROCESS of RESCUE had already begun, before Charlie was born, as, mainly, Our Lady and, sometimes, Our Lord had been appearing on earth, giving guidance and exhortation concerning ways, for those who would listen and take up the cause, to repair spiritual damage, resist the onslaught of our Mother’s adversary and reclaim souls due to rising forces of evil. The messages which have been fully approved by the Church, deserve consideration in order to cull the spiritual treasures which enable us to more fully participate in the process of rescue, for every soul that returns to God impacts both the individual soul, so precious to God, and mitigation.

The Denver Archdiocese has misunderstood Ms. Hesse’s statement about prophecies. The statement, "The messages which have been fully approved by the Church” refers back to the apparitions that occurred before Charlie was born.

Perhaps you should have been contacted Ms. Hesse and given her the opportunity to clarify her statement before issuing your press release.

Let’s all continue to pray for the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, to the glory of God!
    Sincerely,
    Marie Baron

    1. Thank you Ms. Baron for your note - I appreciate that you provided this clarification. I'm not the original source for the press release - just printing the information provided by the Archdiocese, which happens to be the authority in matters related to the Johnston messages.

  2. Seers and their support staff could be politicians. You have to read closely and notice how they carefully parse their words. I understand the release is probably referring Bach to Church approved apparitions. It is however easy to misread the text and come away believing that Mr. Johnson's prophecies are also approved. It is, I think, crafted to be confusing if not deliberately misleading. This is a money making venture. That says it all for me.

There's a lively conversation about Charlie Johnston and Beckita on Glenn Dellaire's blog, Mystics of the Church, for anyone interested. Many, many former followers have said they felt emotionally abused in Charlie's community, and lost money by listening to him, back when he was urging people to get ready to flee government agents who wanted to take Christians to FEMA camps. You can look it up!

Now Beckita and others are blaming unknown "enemies" on other blogs for forcing the archbishop of Denver warn people, AGAIN, that Charlie is not to be trusted or followed, and that they should keep their eyes on the Lord and the sacraments. The nerve of those enemies. It's all in the comments section of the latest article, Beckita's "apology."

It seems like Charlie's followers will do ANYTHING to avoid acknowledging they are ignoring the last paragraph of the Archdiocesan statement:

The events of 2016/17 have shown that Mr. Johnston’s alleged visions were not accurate and the Archdiocese urges the faithful not to condone or support further attempts to reinterpret them as valid.

    1. Thanks for letting people know about these things. The backtracking, apologies and explanations of 'this is what I meant - even though I said this', as well as spinning what Church officials have stated are evidence enough that there is nothing supernatural going on and it's close to becoming a cult of personality.

You're welcome, Terry. I'm not sure about the "nothing supernatural" bit. Someone at the Mystics site mentioned feeling diabolical disorientation after visiting Charlie/Beckita's site and reading the comments.

Of course, it's never good to blame the devil when sheer human stupidity can explain things...
